What are these scabs all over my cat?

What are these scab/clump like things all over my cat? My family owns one cat and she is about three. Lately, I have started to notice these odd things on my cat. I can pull them off, but she doesn't like it. They can also be washed off. I don't know what they are, does anyone know?!

Editor's note: Your vet will have to diagnose your cat, but cats with scabs often have fleas (flea allergy dermatitis). Flea control is important because fleas pose a number of health risks to cats. They can cause anemia and spread disease, including parasites. They also make your cat miserable.

Excessive scratching can also sometimes be caused by a non-flea related allergy or skin condition. Skin conditions can be signs of other diseases as well.

Fleas or not, I would suggest contacting your veterinarian as soon as possible to get proper diagnosis and treatment for this condition.
