Wendy's Feline Friends
by Wendy
(Colonial Beach, VA)
Wendy rescues cats and cares for them in her home in Colonial Beach, VA. All of the cats are free-living (not in cages) in a home setting with other cats, dogs and children. They have access to a fully enclosed outdoor exercise area.
All of the cats receive complete veterinary care and are FeLV negative. Adult cats are vaccinated and are spayed or neutered.
She also has friendly, healthy, sterilized cats who choose to stay outdoors and would be perfect barn cats.
How to adopt from Wendy:If you are interested in one of Wendy's cats or kittens (website link below), call her directly at 804-224-1079 (between 8 am - 8 pm - Eastern time zone). Leave a message if needed and she'll get back to you.
Since the cats live with Wendy, she knows their PURRsonalities well and can help you match the right cat to your lifestyle.
Wendy will want you to come to her house so she can meet you, and you can meet the cats.
Fees:Wendy's Feline Friends runs strictly on donations from the public.
Suggested donation for an unfixed kitten is $75. This helps cover the cost of testing and shots, flea treatment and deworming. You must ensure that the kitten gets spayed or neutered within an agreed upon time frame.
Fixed cats with a current rabies vaccination are available for a suggested donation of $125.
Wendy wants cats and cat parents to be happy. Cats hate change, and some cats don't adjust well to a new environment.
If for any reason you and your new kitty are not a perfect match, you may bring the little one back to Wendy and adopt a different cat.
