Tampabay Cat Alliance, Inc.


Tampabay Cat Alliance. We are a cat adoption/rescue organization in the Tampabay area of Florida. Our primary focus is adoption. We mostly work with people that are losing their homes, moving, have job loss, owner passing away, owner going into a nursing home, and allergy issues.


We work to find homes for their cats, and keep them out of shelters. We also do colony management/TNR. We socialize kittens and adult cats, and then find them homes. The organization was started by myself about 2 years ago, and has grown. We will continue growing, and hopefully, have a building next year. We do a lot of adoption/fundraising events.

I have a cat (1 of 3) that needs a new home. She would do well as an only cat. She is a self defined Queen. She has begun to pick fights with the other two cats, and she maintains a brazilian underbelly. We have tried prozac but she fights to keep us from putting it on her. She is very loving to people, and a beautiful marble tabby. Can any one help us find her a home? cmcdermott5 AT tampabay.rr.com

I wish the adoptions at Tampabay Cat Alliance, Inc. were so well defined... I filled out an application... I waited at least a week for someone to contact me... and then I decided to go elsewhere.

I would have given an excellent home to the cat that I was interested in adopting... Why does Tampabay Cat Alliance refuse to call their prospective adopters?
