Skittle Dittles from Columbus

We foster for a Cat Rescue and we have many kitties pass through our home, so it often confuses our neighbors who find a kitten or cat and come running to our door and state here's your cat/kitten, when it isn't one we've had in our home; but, never-the-less we take it in.
One evening after having dialysis, I was attempting to eat (I was extremely ill from taking dialysis) when our neighbor, Angela came knocking on our door, stating to come get our cat as it had been outside in her bushes all day (100+ degree heat). So I told my friend to please go and check it out.
He came back with this teeny kitten, who fit in the palm of my hand. We gave her water to see if she could drink yet (she could) and some food. She ate and drank everything.
Needless to say we took her in and being soooo small, I waited to take her to the vet for 5 days. Our vet checked her out and stated if she lived 72 hours, then she might make it. I didn't tell him we'd had her for 5 days.
My friend called her Skittles and I added the Dittles, thus calling her Skittle Dittles.
She's now going on 4 years old, and since I'd carried her around for several months so she wouldn't get into a spot where we couldn't get her out, she now minds better than our dog.
We hope to have her many more years to come. She's such a sweet little girl, but she rules the house... hehe.
BTW, now being full-grown she weighs 6 lbs.
