Post vet visit lethargic kitten

We have 3 British Shorthair cats- one, George, who is a 5-month-old kitten. George went to the vet a week ago for his rabies vaccine and to get some blood drawn for his neutering next month. When I brought him home, he just slept.
Over the next few days, all he would do is sleep. He was still eating and using the litter box, but the extremely playful and affectionate kitten seemed to disappear.
I took him to the emergency vet because I was concerned, and other than a slight fever, he was fine. I’m feeling at a loss right now. I don’t know what to do. Has anyone experienced this before?? We desperately need some advice.
