Our cats are stuck in our tiny bedroom
by Anonymous
I have two adorable male tuxedos, a six-month-old and a four-year-old and I love them to pieces. They are literally my whole world and more.
This last Christmas I found out I was pregnant and my fiancé and I moved into his parent's house. Baby could be here at any time, but the thing is that both of the cats are stuck in our tiny bedroom with their litter and not allowed anywhere else in the house due to his parent's dog.
It’s going to be us three with the two cats in a very small bedroom. As soon as one of the cats goes potty the whole room smells and we have the warmest room in the house even with air conditioning.
At night if I’m not waking up to potty because of the baby I’m yelling at them because they are bored. I don’t blame them but they are getting into EVERYTHING and the kitten has broken the blinds and tears up all the stuffed animals and papers he can find.
I don’t know what to do but I am so stressed about these cats because I love my fur babies to pieces, but I don’t know what to do because I have anxiety about making them outdoor cats.
I don’t wanna give them up. I couldn’t do that, but we have no other option if my fiancé’s parents won’t allow them even in a hallway.
They have a garage, but that’s where their cat is who is sick and on its death bed, a very old beautiful kitty but very sick and 17 years old. They don’t want our cats out there stressing their cat out. What should we do?
