Onyx from Rochester

Onyx was adopted by me from Lollipop Farms in 2004. He was the spunkiest black kitten I ever met and remained so throughout his adulthood.

He insisted on riding around on my shoulders as I gardened and did the dishes. At night he would take out his toys and toss them around the house for me to trip on in the morning.

I've never seen a cat come when they are called. He always did, in the house as well as the yard.

He and I would lay on the lawn, he on my chest, just relaxing together. I look forward to the Rainbow Bridge so we can hug and sit together again. I love you Onyx.

There lived a black kitty on Commodore who could not have found a better home or Mom anywhere! He left his mark--literally and figuratively on hearts and home. Rest in peace beautiful Onyx--and play happily on that rainbow bridge

I'm so happy I was able to meet Onyx and see what a wonderful relationship the two of you had. He was the only cat I've seen who loved to ride on your shoulders the way Onyx did. He was certainly a very special cat and wonderful companion. I'm so sorry to hear he's gone and I'm heartbroken for your loss. My prayers are with you.
