Neutered 4-year-old cat and spraying?

Will a 4-year-old cat that was just neutered spray because he was neutered at an older age? I'm adopting a 4-year-old neutered male cat from a breeder. He had one litter and the owner just kept him and at 4 years of age had him neutered. They said he has never sprayed but what is the possibility of him spraying because he was neutered at an older age?

Cats can be triggered to spray, regardless of when they were neutered. If he's never sprayed, though, the chances that he'll start now are slim.
