The Rainbow Bridge Story Book
Natasha was taken by a young woman at the age of 2 years old from someone who was going to put her out in the street.
She lived with the woman for a while, but then the woman gave her up and sent her to the Freeport shelter, which is a kill shelter. I rescued her from the Freeport shelter in 2003, and she lived her life out with me until the day she went to the bridge at the age of 22 years old.
Natasha was very aloof with people and with most of our animals. She slways wanted her meal first. She immediately claimed my son as her prize. She went up to bed with him and his German Shepherd every night and didn't come downstairs until he was up and about.
Whatever she decided to claim became hers immediately. She resembled a Maine Coon, or a Norwegian Forest cat, and was very beautiful.
Among our cats and dogs, Natasha was really queen of the roost in our home. On 7/6/15, at the age of 22, she passed away peacefully from old age in the living room near me and near her beloved friend, our black lab dog.
