My young cat has thick, dark, stools

My young cat is pooping ONLY thick, dark, kinda clotty blood. She wouldn't eat for 3 days and drank little water (thankfully). I finally got her to eat a small amount of tuna earlier.
I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow I just really want to know if anyone would have any idea on what could be wrong with her.
My thoughts: I can't diagnose her, but if she didn't eat for several days and she's having black, tarry stools, it sounds like she's bleeding somewhere in her digestive tract.
If she were my cat, I would guess she may have swallowed something that is lodged in her stomach or intestines, or she may have a bad case of parasites.
I'm glad to hear you're taking her to the veterinarian. I'd get her there as soon as possible.
Good luck with her at the vet and please let us know what the vet finds.
