My Maine Coon was my main cat

My Maine Coon was the leader of the house-even with us humans. She had the other two cats trained and us also.
Her name was originally Liddle Kiddle (because we got her when she was 8 weeks old in May of 1998), but as time went on and she became big we started calling her Littles and then Lillispod but more recently we called her Nana because of the fact she was over 15 ears old but she wasn't a grandma because she never had a litter of kittens.
She loved to lay on her back and "sunbathe" a lot and when a friend of mine came over and saw her like that she nicknamed her "Centerfold."
The picture is of her back in 2007 in Carbondale, Colorado. We lived there then and she was used to the rural life but in Carbondale.
We lived by farmland and there were a lot of cows, horses, wild turkeys running around, deer and sometimes if bears couldn't find food further up in the hills, they would come down to Carbondale's altitude.
She got spooked the first time she heard the cows moo-ing when she woke up one morning. This is a picture of her lying there in the sun and this is also before we got our 2 other cats.
Unfortunately, Lilly passed away on the 4th of July of this year. She had kidney disease which is quite common in Maine Coons and by the time the doctors found it, she had lost over 70% of her kidney functioning. :'(
Hope you enjoy the picture though. She brought a lot of smiles and joy to many people for many, many years.
