My kitten won't let me sleep at night

Hi! I need your help, fellow cat lovers! My kitten, 5 months old, still doesn't let me sleep at night.


Like clockwork he wakes me up at about 4 and then shortly before 7:30, mainly for cuddling. Obviously at day time it's not interesting. I really want to sleep... what to do?

The first question I would ask is, when are you feeding the kitten?

My kittens used to do the same thing to me, I would eventually get up, go to the bathroom and then right to the kitchen to feed them. I started getting woke up earlier and earlier. An animal behaviorist gave me the suggestion of feeding them at night. It worked!

My cats had trained me well. After that, no early morning wake ups, but if I forgot to feed them, I would never hear the end of it.

The only other thing I can think of is that is there something/someone in the house or neighborhood making noise at that time in the morning?

And the other thing is, she might just be being a kitten and she will grow out of that. Stick with her.
