My cat's personality has changed

My outdoor cat Nova used to adore me, was very vocal and affectionate, always wanting attention, but about a week or two ago she started to change rapidly. She stopped coming when I called her, stopped following me around, stopped showing up at the porch, and stopped coming at night, which is when I fed them.


I am not sure if this is the reasoning, but a few weeks ago we stopped feeding at night and started feeding them in the mornings. We also ended starting a small homestead, but it feels like her behavior change happened overnight. I mean I know she is still around because now in the mornings she is at the door, at least according to my mom. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Behavior changes can be a sign of trouble (illness, trauma), or simply just a response to change. If the behavior change is dramatic, though, I'd get her checked out to be sure.
