My cat won’t go into active labor

My baby Duchess is very pregnant and I took her to the vet Tuesday and they said she is having 6-7 kittens. Since then she has been nesting, eating a ton, and napping all the time. She will occasionally cry and run around the house the last few days but nothing consistent.

I have been taking her temp under her leg but I don’t think it’s very accurate. I am getting worried for her. She is so small and getting so big and not really showing any major signs of labor at all. What should I do? Is there anything I can do? What do y’all think?

Keep her comfy

The best you can do, short of taking her to the vet, is to keep her comfortable. Cat births are unpredictable.
