My cat has a scratch with green puss

My cat has a scratch with a soft ball and green puss coming out of it. Have had this cat for about 2 and a half weeks. Comes inside and outside. We live around rats and live in a RV.

Assume anything with puss is an infection and needs to be cleaned, debrided, and treated with antibiotics. Please get to the vet soon.
