Lost cat in a house with a dog?

I had to take my cat LuLu to my sister's house for a few days. Lulu is an indoor cat and had not been to my sister's house. My sister has a dog and a large home with an up and downstairs.

We have not been able to find her for over 2 days.

We have searched every inch of the house but cannot find her.

Do you think she will stay in hiding with the dog still in the house? I would like to ask my sister to take her dog somewhere for a while- overnight if possible to see if she would come out of hiding. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

I would have someone take the dog out of the house and hope that you can find your cat in that time. When you do, put her in a room with everything she needs and close the door. Otherwise, she'll get lost again. Good luck!
