Kayou from Lake Havasu City

Please, mommy?
His name is suppose to mean "Nobleman" in Japanese. Originally, my baby's name was Kiyoshi.
I thought he was a she, and because I wanted him to have a name that had meaning, I kept that for a little while and kept hunting down a name.
Then one day, our dog--Duke, an American Bulldog--tried to attack his mother, Blackie. Now, Blackie would have probably been killed if it weren't for Kayou jumping in front of her.
Yep, he just jumped right in front of her and ended up in the dog's mouth. My cousin-in-law grabbed Duke by the collar, causing the dog to yelp and drop Kayou.
Duke was then taken inside, and put in his room for awhile. In the meantime, I checked Kayou. He got lucky. He only has a scar on his chin and incurable claustrophobia, but he was ok and his mother was safe again.
After all that, I finally decided that he needed the name of a hero and being an Otaku and loving Japanese culture so much, I named the little guy "Kayou" and it has stuck with him ever since.
