I am afraid my 2 week old orphaned kitten is lonely

I believe it is 10-12 days old. I have had it for 1 week. Lately, after I feed it, it stays awake in its bed for awhile. Not searching, just hanging out awake. I feel bad that’s it’s lonely. Should I comfort it? Hold it? Play with it? I know it should sleep a lot but I also don’t want it feel isolated. Any suggestions?

Yes, cuddle the kitten. Let the kitten stay close to you like you're its mom. You want it to feel the warmth. Some people use a hot water bottle filled with warm water (not too hot), or an electric blanket as well. Be mindful of safety issues, though.
