How to keep my kittens in place

by Robert

So my cat gave birth some time ago (she gave birth on the 5th, currently writing this on the 31st of August). And now they are walking all over the place. I made them one box but they climbed got out when they were bored and never got back in. Now they have a bigger box in surface and height and they cannot climb out but the mama cat does not seem ok with it.

I want to keep the kittens in that specific room because most of the house has parquet floor and my stepfather gets pissed when they will leave that room because he's afraid they'll ruin the floor. Their mother keeps picking them up and moving them to other rooms. I really don't know what to do at this point. They are four kittens by the way.

Mother cats like to move their kittens
by: Billy the Rat Catcher

The only way is to keep the mother cat confined to a section of the house. They like to move their kittens.
