Dinky from Washington

We found Dinky at a local animal shelter in 2001 when she was 9 months old. She was a very shy cat.

She hid from us for many months after we brought her home. She eventually became a very spoiled, content, sweet cat.

She loved to have her belly rubbed. She loved being brushed to the point that she would come running if she saw us holding the brush. She was very vocal when she wanted food or treats. She loved her routines and would let us know if we slacked. She made our house a home.

She was 14 1/2 years old when she passed away only a couple of weeks after we lost our other cat, Five. Dinky was suffering renal failure, and then through an x-ray we discovered a mass around her intestinal tract.

We think she didn't have the fight in her anymore once Five was gone. She was such a sweet kitty and we are fortunate to have had her in our lives. We will miss her always.
