Cat Name Shadow

I named my cat Shadow for 2 reasons. 1) He's all black with amber eyes, so it's very hard to see him in the dark, like an outline, or a shadow. 2) He always follows me around the house, wherever I go, sticking to my side like, well, a shadow!

I recently lost my Shadow to cancer. I have cried for a week. We buried him in the backyard and come Spring I will plant a Shadow Cat Dahlia over his grave in memory of him. I miss him terribly.

Thanks for adding to our list. Any cat that follows me around would be OK by me! Shadow is definitely a good name, especially for black or gray cats.
