Can you tell me what's wrong with my female cat please?

Hi, I have a female cat called Roxy. She is 2 and a half years old. She's had one lot of kittens and now she has been spayed. She has not been herself these past 3 days and she is sleeping most of the daytime.

Her coat looks rough and she's hardly going out for a toilet. She has been off her food a bit since last night. Also she just looks knackered like she's got no energy. Do you know what's wrong with her? Please get back to me. Thanks.

Editor's note: Whatever she has, Kerry, she needs to be diagnosed by a veterinarian and properly treated. It could be anything from a virus to a systemic disease of some kind. There's no way to know without having her examined.

Anytime a cat goes off of food for a day, I look to the veterinarian for help. Plus, from your description, she's lethargic, sleeping too much, and she's not grooming herself well. If Roxy were my cat, I would not take any chances, and I would get her to the vet as soon as possible.
