Bartholomew County Humane Society
"To the world you may be just one person, but to one life you may be the world."
The Bartholomew County Humane Society is a non-profit organization that cares for homeless animals in the Bartholomew County area. We depend entirely on generous donations to properly care for these animals asking for a second chance at life. The Humane Society can have anywhere from 80-140 cats at one time!
Everything needed to provide for these animals on a daily basis such as food, litter, medication, cleaning supplies, vaccines, and even the beds they sleep on, rely completely on contributions made from the community.
We also greatly appreciate volunteers to help care for the animals 365 days a year. Walking, grooming, fundraising, socializing, fostering, and donations are what keeps us going!
